KozKreole was launched several years ago with the goal of promoting Seychelles music throughout the world. Through our page we have been able to connect people from various cultures and origins, generations, ethnic backgrounds, social interests and all corners of the world. KozKreole is also a platform where many who have emigrated have found it has kept them abreast of cultural events which they have little to no access to in their adopted countries. KozKreole has recently diversified its activities to include other elements. One of these is directed towards inspiring the youth to battle substance abuse, which has been on the rise lately. KozKreole believes that the youth lack a dependable support system where they can find solace in their social situation and regain the strength to fight the addiction. Therefore, a program showcasing several successful professionals recounting their childhood stories and the struggles they went through to attain their goals, emerged. “In the Footsteps of Seychelles Professionals” a program that is still ongoing with more interviews in the works with our own, Tessa Henderson. KozKreole remains focused on music, arts and culture and has a few updates – KozKreole Mizik YouTube channel with video clips of Seychelles music as well as other Creole performances from around the world. Another Facebook page administered by KozKreole is “KozKreole Mizik”. The New Year started off with yet another one of Kozkreole’s initiative with a collection of the Seychelles early traditional storytelling which contributed to the olden days’ entertainment. The stories can be heard on Kozkreole Mizik YouTube channel. A weekly entertainment featuring a new story every Sunday. KozKreole also welcomes any ideas you may have that you believe will interest our audience. KozKreole’s other activities comprise of promotions through graphic designs, music and advertising video clips, photography and videography.
